Daily Prophet, Issue 17

Hello, my fine furry friends!! LOL j/k I always say that to my kids because it just sounds funny. Not much going on around Hogwarts. Everyone is settling down. Well, actually, not quite settling down. There was quite a ruckus in the kitchen last night, I here. And who were the trouble makers, I ask you??? Ferrets!!!! Yes, that's right! There were ferrets all over the kitchen, and unfortunately they ate all of the Cornish Pasties and the Steak & Kidney Pudding! And unfortunately for some, all of the Spotted Dick is also gone.

Which House is responsible for such a travesty?

Hear Ye, Hear Ye
I need every single person that emailed me with a name change to email me again. After I did the initial sign ins I changed your name on the site, but obviously your parter - the one sending to you - still thinks that you have the old name. So, I need to put together a conclusive list of everyone that changed their names. Thanks!!

It wasn't me. I'm innocent (this time). I was busy in the Ravenclaw Common Room knitting my peacock socks. But I am majorly disappointed that all the Spotted Dick is gone. Now what will I have for dessert??

I am innocent as well--Fleur Lovegoods and I can vouch for each other as we were both knitting in the common room--she working on her socks, and I on my blanket.

Besides, I'd never do such a thing--I prefer to sample desserts myself, not do away with them. =)

Or did someone sample all the desserts themselves and bring the ferrets in to cover up their misdeed? I, uh, don't suggest this because I did it though. I am too sick to do anything that active.

Ok, Ravenclaws, stop sucking up! :)

But seriously, no Spotted Dick is almost too much to bear.

Ferrets in the kitchens huh? Hmm, interesting...

The Hufflepuff proximity to the kitchens should in no way make us suspect--I swear it was only one ferret when I, Oops--I mean, I swear I know nothing about any ferrets in the kitchens.

I used to have a ferret named Pesque. He did get into a lot of things, but I didn't bring a ferret to Hogwarts, just my cats Zelda and Earle Grey.

Intresting...my ferret loved to hide in socks. As this is a sock kit swap it seems a natural place for ferrets to show up. Hummmmm????

Petunia, I remember your exploits from last year. I bet you know something about ferrets.
